3 Miracles Save a Jewish Boy
Teen author Miriam Duhamel, and teen illustrator Anna Wolf, have created compelling text and images to share the life of Roman Frayman. Roman, born a Jew in Poland, believes that it was a miracle he survived the Holocaust. He was very young when he was hidden at a work camp by his parents. He was then hidden again, placed under the care of a neighbor, while his mother hid in a coal bin in a basement. These wartime experiences led Roman to know the danger of judging people for the religion they choose to follow. He has spent his adult life educating others about tolerance and acceptance. Miriam and Anna invite you to read and learn from this book.
